These rules apply to profiles, photo walls, Moments, comments, likes, stranger greetings, friend requests, private chats, voice and video calls, Drift Bottles, gifts, social games, usernames and every other user-visible area. Ripple is for adults aged 18 or older. Nudity, sexual exploitation, threats, harassment, hate, impersonation, scams, spam, illegal sales and attempts to move users into unsafe payments are prohibited even when sent privately or described as a joke.
Use the report control available on profiles, messages, Moments, comments and other supported content. Blocking a user stops new contact and may remove friendship and follow relationships; unblocking does not automatically restore them. Ripple may warn, restrict discovery, remove content, mute, suspend or permanently ban an account according to severity, history and legal obligations. Automated detection, user reports and authorized human review may all be used for enforcement.

20. DECEPTIVE PROFILES AND ROMANCE FRAUD

falsely claiming to have a serious financial crisis;

Users may choose to continue legitimate personal communication outside the Service.
However, moving a conversation to another platform does not exempt the parties from the consequences of conduct that violates these Guidelines or applicable law.
The Service may take action where available evidence reasonably indicates that off-platform conduct was directly connected to:
fraud conducted through the Service;
harassment originating on the Service;
threats;
blackmail;
exploitation;
abuse of the Service;
circumvention of safety controls.

The specific response may depend on the seriousness, frequency, credibility, and circumstances of the conduct.

If you believe that you or another person faces an immediate threat of serious physical harm, contact the appropriate emergency services or local authorities.
The Service may take reasonable emergency measures where it receives credible information indicating an immediate and serious safety risk.
26. APPEALS
Where an account, content item, or feature access is restricted or terminated, the Service may provide an appeal mechanism where appropriate.
An appeal should explain:
the relevant account;
the action being challenged;
why the user believes the action was incorrect;

Factors that may be considered include:
