Ripple Service Rules
Ripple is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. You may not create or use an account if you are under 18. Age is initially based on the date of birth supplied by the user, and Ripple may request additional verification or restrict features where required for safety, payment, identity or legal compliance.
Ripple includes stranger discovery, nearby and online recommendations, matching, temporary conversations, friend requests, Moments, Drift Bottle, virtual gifts, audio and video calls, and social game experiences. A recommendation, match score, distance, online indicator, popularity value or affection score is an in-product signal and is not a guarantee of identity, compatibility, safety or availability. Use report and block controls when appropriate and do not send money, credentials or sensitive information to another user.
Before two people become friends, Ripple may limit the number and type of messages that can be sent. Costs, free daily uses, VIP or SVIP allowances, expiry periods and other configurable limits are shown in the Service and may change prospectively. A value of zero may mean that no charge or no limit applies, as indicated by the relevant screen.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile applications, websites, web services, communication services, virtual goods, subscription services, creator features, and related products operated by the individual developer and operator of Ripple (“Operator”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account, accessing, purchasing, or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
1. ABOUT THE SERVICE
The Service is an international social and communication platform designed to allow users to discover, communicate, and interact with other users.
Depending on your location and account eligibility, the Service may include:
user profiles;
discovery and matching;
text messaging;
image and media sharing;
voice messaging;
voice calls;
video calls;
virtual gifts;
virtual Coins;
VIP and SVIP memberships;
social activities;
interest-based discovery;
location-based discovery;
digital events and promotional activities;
Creator or monetization features;
other communication and entertainment features.
The availability of particular features may vary by country, region, operating system, age, account status, regulatory requirements, payment provider, or other circumstances.
We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance, operational reasons, or user safety.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS
The Service is intended for adults.
You must satisfy the minimum legal age required to use the Service in your country or territory. Certain features may have additional age requirements.
You may not:
falsely state or misrepresent your age;
create an account on behalf of a minor;
assist a minor in circumventing age restrictions;
use another person's identity to bypass age or eligibility controls;
use the Service for sexual exploitation or other prohibited conduct involving minors.
We may use age declarations, age-assurance technologies, verification procedures, account signals, or other reasonable measures to determine eligibility and protect users.
Where legally required or reasonably necessary for safety, we may restrict access to certain features until age or identity requirements have been satisfied.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
To use certain features, you may be required to create an account.
You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and not misleading.
Depending on the registration method, we may collect or request information such as:
email address;
telephone number;
login credentials;
date of birth or age information;
profile information;
profile photographs;
language;
location information;
identity or age verification information where required.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities conducted through your account.
You must notify us promptly if you believe that:
your account has been compromised;
someone has accessed your account without authorization;
your password or authentication information has been disclosed;
suspicious activity has occurred on your account.
We may require additional authentication or verification where reasonably necessary to protect your account.
4. ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS
You may not:
sell your account;
rent your account;
transfer your account to another person;
allow another person to operate your account;
create accounts for fraudulent purposes;
create accounts to circumvent enforcement measures;
operate automated accounts without our authorization.
We may restrict the number of accounts associated with a user, device, payment instrument, or other identifier where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, fraud, manipulation, or circumvention of our policies.
5. USER PROFILES AND USER INFORMATION
The Service contains information submitted by users.
User-provided information may include:
name or display name;
age;
photographs;
biography;
interests;
language;
location;
relationship preferences;
occupation or lifestyle information;
other profile information.
We do not guarantee that information supplied by another user is accurate, complete, current, or authentic.
A profile, verification badge, popularity indicator, subscription status, Creator status, ranking, or other platform indicator does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of the person's:
identity;
character;
intentions;
relationship status;
financial condition;
occupation;
suitability;
safety;
compatibility.
You are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when interacting with other users.
6. SOCIAL INTERACTIONS
The Service is designed to facilitate communication between people.
We do not guarantee:
that another user will respond to you;
that you will receive matches;
that a match will lead to communication;
that communication will result in friendship;
that communication will result in a romantic relationship;
that a user will participate in a voice or video call;
that another user will send or receive a virtual gift;
that any particular social or emotional outcome will occur.
Any communication or relationship formed through the Service is between the relevant users.
We are not responsible for personal relationships or interactions occurring between users, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. MATCHING, DISCOVERY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The Service may recommend users based on factors such as:
location;
language;
interests;
stated preferences;
activity;
interaction history;
account settings;
subscription features;
safety and integrity signals;
product experiments;
other lawful platform signals.
Matching and recommendation systems are designed to facilitate discovery.
They do not constitute an endorsement, verification, guarantee, or statement regarding the suitability or safety of any recommended user.
We may modify recommendation systems from time to time.
8. USER CONTENT
“User Content” means information, text, photographs, videos, audio, messages, profiles, comments, virtual interactions, and other material submitted, uploaded, transmitted, or displayed by users.
You remain responsible for User Content that you submit through the Service.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the relevant content.
You must not submit content that:
infringes intellectual property rights;
violates privacy rights;
violates publicity or personality rights;
contains unlawful material;
constitutes fraud or impersonation;
promotes scams;
facilitates financial exploitation;
contains prohibited sexual content;
involves exploitation of minors;
contains credible threats;
constitutes harassment or stalking;
violates our Community Guidelines.
9. LICENSE TO USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of User Content to the extent you legally own it.
By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to host, store, reproduce, process, format, transmit, display, distribute within the Service, moderate, secure, and technically adapt such content for the purposes of:
operating the Service;
providing communication functionality;
maintaining security;
preventing fraud and abuse;
moderating content;
improving platform functionality;
providing customer support;
complying with legal obligations.
This license continues only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
We will not obtain ownership of your User Content merely because you use the Service.
10. CONTENT MODERATION
We may use a combination of:
automated detection systems;
artificial intelligence tools;
human moderation;
user reports;
account signals;
device and network security signals;
transaction monitoring;
other safety technologies.
These systems may be used to detect:
spam;
fraud;
scams;
harassment;
prohibited content;
account takeover;
payment abuse;
artificial engagement;
other violations of our policies.
We may take action including:
warning;
content removal;
reduced distribution;
messaging restrictions;
feature restrictions;
spending restrictions;
Creator monetization restrictions;
temporary suspension;
permanent termination.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice and appeal mechanisms.
11. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You may not use the Service to:
11.1 Fraud and Deception
impersonate another person;
create fake identities for fraudulent purposes;
use stolen photographs;
make materially deceptive statements;
engage in romance or emotional fraud;
operate fraudulent accounts.
11.2 Financial Exploitation
You must not use the Service to solicit or pressure another user to provide:
money;
cryptocurrency;
bank transfers;
gift cards;
payment credentials;
passwords;
authentication codes;
private keys;
seed phrases;
investment funds.
You must not use romantic, emotional, social, or deceptive relationships to obtain financial benefits from another user.
11.3 Harassment and Abuse
You may not:
threaten another person;
stalk another person;
repeatedly contact someone who has clearly asked you to stop;
blackmail another person;
extort another person;
engage in coercive conduct;
distribute private or intimate material without authorization.
11.4 Manipulation
You may not:
use bots to create artificial engagement;
create fake accounts to inflate popularity;
manipulate rankings;
manipulate gift transactions;
conduct self-gifting;
operate coordinated gift rings;
manipulate Creator earnings;
abuse promotional campaigns;
exploit technical vulnerabilities.
11.5 Circumvention
You may not attempt to circumvent:
account restrictions;
payment controls;
age restrictions;
safety systems;
moderation systems;
rate limits;
geographic restrictions;
technical security measures.
12. COMMUNICATIONS
The Service may allow text, image, audio, voice, and video communication.
Users are responsible for the communications they initiate.
You acknowledge that communication features may be subject to:
safety monitoring;
spam detection;
abuse prevention;
fraud detection;
technical processing;
legal requirements.
We do not guarantee that every communication will be delivered, retained, or available indefinitely.
13. VOICE AND VIDEO CALLS
Certain voice and video features may require Coins, subscription benefits, or other paid functionality.
Prices or Coin requirements will be displayed before or during the applicable transaction.
Call availability may depend on:
user settings;
account status;
Creator eligibility;
network conditions;
regional restrictions;
safety controls;
platform availability.
We do not guarantee that another user will accept or complete a call.
We may terminate or restrict calls where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, technical reasons, or compliance.
14. VIRTUAL COINS
The Service may offer digital Coins used to access certain paid features.
Coins:
are digital service units;
have no independent cash value;
are not legal tender;
are not deposits;
are not securities;
are not investments;
do not constitute a financial account.
Coins may be used only within supported Service features.
Additional rules governing Coins are contained in our Virtual Currency & Virtual Gifts Terms.
15. VIRTUAL GIFTS
Users may send digital gifts to other users through supported features.
Virtual Gifts:
are digital items;
do not constitute ownership of any real-world asset;
do not represent an investment;
cannot ordinarily be redeemed by the sending user for cash;
may generate Creator earnings only under applicable Creator rules.
The Operator may establish different gift prices, categories, promotional offers, and availability by market.
16. VIP AND SVIP MEMBERSHIPS
The Service may offer paid membership plans, including VIP and SVIP.
Membership benefits may include features relating to:
discovery;
profile visibility;
search and filtering;
communication;
privacy;
profile presentation;
selected discounts;
priority customer support;
other premium features.
Membership does not guarantee:
matches;
replies;
friendships;
romantic relationships;
calls;
gifts;
Creator interaction;
financial or social outcomes.
Subscription terms, billing, cancellation, renewal, and refund rights are governed by the Subscription Terms and applicable store or consumer requirements.
17. CREATOR FEATURES
Certain users may qualify for Creator or monetization features.
Creator participation may be subject to:
age verification;
identity verification;
payment verification;
tax information;
compliance review;
safety review;
minimum eligibility requirements.
Creator earnings are not guaranteed.
Creator monetization is governed by the:
Creator Agreement and
Creator Payout Policy.
18. CREATOR EARNINGS AND PAYOUTS
Creator earnings may initially appear as pending balances.
Transactions may be subject to review for:
refunds;
chargebacks;
payment fraud;
unauthorized transactions;
self-gifting;
artificial engagement;
account compromise;
policy violations;
legal requirements.
Accordingly, displayed earnings may not immediately be available for withdrawal.
We may temporarily delay a payout where reasonably necessary to conduct a legitimate review.
Any payout adjustment will be handled according to the Creator Payout Policy and applicable law.
19. PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS
Paid services may be purchased through:
Apple App Store;
Google Play;
authorized web payment providers;
other payment channels supported by the Service.
The applicable purchase screen will display the relevant price and material purchase conditions.
You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected payment method for confirmed purchases.
You are responsible for ensuring that payment information provided to the payment provider is accurate and authorized.
20. TAXES
Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on:
country;
payment channel;
product;
applicable tax rules;
payment-provider requirements.
Where required by law, the Operator or its payment providers may collect, calculate, withhold, or remit applicable taxes.
Creators remain responsible for their personal tax obligations unless applicable law provides otherwise.
21. REFUNDS AND CHARGEBACKS
Refunds are governed by:
applicable consumer law;
app-store rules;
payment-provider rules;
our Refund & Purchase Policy.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude a mandatory refund or cancellation right.
Where a transaction is reversed through a refund or chargeback, associated digital entitlements or Creator earnings may be adjusted where reasonably necessary.
22. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to:
enforce these Terms;
protect users;
prevent fraud;
prevent financial abuse;
protect platform integrity;
investigate serious violations;
comply with legal obligations;
respond to payment risk;
protect our systems.
Depending on the circumstances, enforcement may occur immediately.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice and information regarding available appeal procedures.
23. APPEALS
Where an appeal process is available, you may request a review of certain enforcement decisions.
An appeal should contain relevant information explaining why the decision should be reconsidered.
We may maintain urgent safety restrictions while an appeal is being reviewed.
Repeatedly submitting abusive, fraudulent, or irrelevant appeals may result in restrictions on the appeal process.
24. ACCOUNT DELETION
You may request deletion of your account through available account settings or the designated privacy channel.
Deletion does not necessarily mean immediate deletion of every record.
We may retain certain information where reasonably necessary for:
legal compliance;
accounting;
fraud prevention;
security;
dispute resolution;
chargeback management;
enforcement records;
establishment or defense of legal claims.
Where retention is no longer necessary, information will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.
25. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Service and its components, including:
software;
source and object code;
interfaces;
designs;
trademarks;
logos;
graphics;
databases;
platform-created content;
documentation;
are owned by or licensed to the Operator.
Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by us, you may not:
copy;
reproduce;
modify;
distribute;
sell;
lease;
sublicense;
reverse engineer;
decompile;
create derivative works;
commercially exploit the Service.
26. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Service may depend upon third-party services, including:
app stores;
payment providers;
cloud providers;
communications providers;
analytics providers;
content moderation providers;
identity verification providers;
age-assurance providers;
customer-support providers.
Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent that responsibility cannot lawfully be imposed on us.
27. PRIVACY
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy forms part of the overall legal framework governing your use of the Service.
You should read the Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.
28. SAFETY
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Safety & Anti-Scam Policy and Community Guidelines.
We strongly recommend that you:
avoid sending money to people you have met online;
never disclose passwords or authentication codes;
never provide cryptocurrency private keys or seed phrases;
avoid sharing unnecessary personal information;
use the in-app reporting and blocking tools;
use reasonable precautions before meeting another user in person.
29. NO FINANCIAL SERVICES
The Service does not provide:
banking;
investment management;
lending;
financial advice;
securities brokerage;
cryptocurrency custody;
cryptocurrency exchange;
investment opportunities.
Any virtual currency, gift, membership, Creator earning, popularity indicator, or spending balance displayed in the Service does not constitute a financial investment or promise of financial return.
30. AVAILABILITY
We aim to provide reliable access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
maintenance;
technical failures;
network problems;
security incidents;
third-party outages;
regulatory requirements;
force majeure events.
We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance without advance notice where reasonably necessary.
31. DISCLAIMERS
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
the Service will always be available;
the Service will be error-free;
all profiles are authentic;
all information supplied by users is accurate;
a match will result in communication;
communication will result in a relationship;
another user is safe or trustworthy;
a Creator will earn a particular amount;
any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.
Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
32. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of the Service.
This section does not limit liability where such limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
For consumers in jurisdictions that provide mandatory statutory protections, those protections continue to apply.
33. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from:
your material violation of these Terms;
unlawful User Content submitted by you;
your infringement of another person's rights;
fraudulent or abusive use of the Service;
your violation of applicable law.
Nothing in this section requires you to indemnify the Operator to the extent prohibited by mandatory consumer law.
34. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
We may modify the Service, including features, pricing structures, membership benefits, virtual goods, or technical functionality.
Where a change materially affects your existing contractual rights, we will provide notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
Changes to future purchases do not ordinarily modify the terms of transactions already completed, except where necessary to correct errors, prevent fraud, comply with law, or otherwise permitted by applicable terms.
35. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
For material changes, we will provide notice appropriate to the significance of the change.
The updated version will identify its effective date.
Where applicable law requires affirmative consent to a material change, we will request that consent.
36. GOVERNING LAW AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
The governing law and dispute-resolution mechanism applicable to a particular user may depend on the user's country or region and mandatory consumer protection law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
The Operator may specify additional jurisdictional terms for particular countries or regions where required.
37. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permitted.
38. NO WAIVER
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later.
39. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with documents expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between you and the Operator concerning your use of the Service.
